Mr. Faruk Yerli is President and Managing Director of Crytek, and he also serves on the consultancy panel for the annual animation, effects, games and interactive event FMX. Let’s expect this keynote speaker to share with us his experience as a game expert.

Faruk Yerli

West Meets East – Expanding Entertainment and Technology into Global Markets

Faruk Yerli will share the growth story of Crytek, which crosses the differences in type, platform, geography and culture to grow into a successful cross-field and cross-industry global digital entertainment technology company from an unknown virtual team.

Based on the leading and innovating core technologies, tools and creation methods, Crytek has managed to help our partners and our own development team to expand from the single mode of PC game development into new areas including simulation, building design, visualization and host computer game platform, as well as the latest 3D experience.

Faruk will also give suggestions on how China’s game teams could expand into the international markets and other platforms, as well as develop in new areas. As China’s games are usually unique in their ideas, while the Chinese art designers are highly talented, Crytek will suggest how to combine the two features to achieve the best results and reduce risks in game development at the same time. Their combination is the best demonstration for integrating Eastern and Western cultures and will lead to a worldwide success. In this regard, NCSoft’s Aion can be a good example.

Crytek believes that in future, digital entertainment products that better integrate the Eastern history and artistic styles and the advanced Western technologies will have more impacts on the world.
