The Games Tribe strengthens sales offering with key appointment

Specialist video games media firm expands with recruitment of former Future and EMAP man Steve Grigg as Client Director

Bristol, 2 May 2011

The Games Tribe continues its rapid expansion in games media with the announcement of Steve Grigg’s appointment to the new role of Client Director.

Grigg will head up The Games Tribe’s sales operation, enabling advertisers and marketers to reach tribes of engaged, passionate gamers. Grigg joins The Games Tribe (www.thegamestribe.com) from Future Publishing, where he was senior sales manager working across the technology, music and latterly auto divisions. He joins The Games Tribe with immediate effect.

The Games Tribe’s Rich Keith said: “I am delighted to have someone of Steve’s experience and passion on board. Having worked with him at Future, I know that there could be no better appointment to help build The Games Tribe as the perfect place to target real gaming communities. It’s a real statement that someone with Steve’s track record of success would join us at The Games Tribe.”

Grigg: “I am really excited to be joining The Games Tribe. It’s a new company with a sound footing and experienced management that’s really looking to expand this year.”

Grigg will be developing relationships with both existing and new clients as The Games Tribe continues to grow as a hub for independent games sites and blogs.
