there aren't an awful lot of issues that annoy me so why is this making my blood boil ?

Today I was sent a game for review. Sticking mainly with point and click and casual titles, I've never needed anything impressive in the operating system or cards. So when a title that I'd been waiting on for ages (they are few and far between) arrived I immediately installed it onto my laptop. FAIL. the smallprint on the colour brochure states "laptop models were not tested and some laptops may not provide features adequate to meet the hardware requirement. You need a pixel shader 3.0 compatible card".

Now I can accept that progress is made and upgrades are needed but on a game that will retail at £19.99 and appeal only to certain section of the gaming community, I feel it is way too much and doubt whether the gamers this will appeal to will have the necessary systems.

Ok I've had my little rant, I'll go now and see if I can find a solution
