Vermont is a lovely state with an abundance of nice things; mountain views, the Ben and Jerry's Factory and the best maple syrup south of the Canadian border. (We were also the setting for Super Troopers)

One thing it doesn't have? The gaming industry. Despite its own Champlain College offering a dedicated course in game design, Vermont has nadda and nil in the way of developers, studios and businesses devoted to the fine art of game creation.

Zone Studios wants to change that. We've started a Kickstarter to fund our first game "Conquest" out of the hope of starting a new business and bringing the video game industry to the green mountain state.

But we need help. We've funded more than half our goal but we have a mere two weeks left to raise the rest. As the clock ticks down we're looking for any and everyone willing to contribute funds or in the least, help us spread the word.

We need $19,000. That's 3800 people giving us $5. That's a cup of coffee. An iOS game. That's nothing, but to us eveything.
