To be perfectly honest to anyone reading this, I had no idea what I should be writing for a living, let alone as a video game journalis. I was tempted to write a brief passage to construct a sense of security, and perhaps add a joke or two for comedic effect.

However, I do not find those appropriate at the moment and they can wait for a later blog entry. My purpose in creating this blog is to allow myself to record my reviews of video games, as well as give myself a voice in relation to the happenings in the video game world.

Why you ask? Because I intend to use this portfolio as a portal for my entry into the lucrative business of video game journalism. I’ve always had a passion for writing and video games, so a career involving both seems like the perfect option for me to plan for.

This first entry is also a promise to both myself and the reader, that no matter what game I may be reviewing that I shall remain impartial and give the game it’s dues where it deserves them. However I feel I have the need to comment freely on regards to the video game world, whether it be a merger between companies or an idiotic suggestion made by a higher up in the corporate ladder.

I plan to update as often as possible, with more reviews coming as my supply of money increases so I can afford to rent games and buy those I plan on keeping. If you should choose to comment, please give constructive criticism if you can. My skills are unrefined and require the rough polishing of an audience. I am also well aware that my first few entries will be of games that have long since been released and reviewed. Please pay no mind to the dates and please focus on the writing, as I want as much feedback as possible.

And so, to whomever is reading this and to myself, here to humble beginnings!
