For nine months out of the year I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. The second the month of June kicks around I pack my bags and fly over to Portugal were I spend my summers days on sunny beaches and nights out in various awesome nightclubs and bars. Sounds perfect for most and it is, there is nothing a 21 year old could want more than to be able to spend their summers in Europe every year. 

When I began writing for blogs I didn't take into consideration that I wasn't going to be in my 'safe zone' were I have access to the many resources I am use too. After arriving in Lisbon only one month later am I fully settled in and ready to begin writing regularly.

Traveling and blogging may seem easy for some, but I am a bit spoiled back at home. Three computers at my disposal, all game consoles hooked up, speedy internet, various locals to obtain any necessary resources, getting work done regularly was easy enough. Now on the other hand I'm limited to a 3G connection, one netbook, family members not understanding what it is I do leading to distractions, limited resources, and just simply out of my 'safety zone'.

This isn't a complaint but on the contrary a declaration of victory. With limited experience in this field and prior lack of precautions taken, I have adapted and have a pretty good grip on myself and of exterior elements that could prevent me from completing my objectives.

I should have been ready the day I got here but everyone has that one learning moment, I'd like to think this was it. Now its back to catching up on all the work I'm behind on, oh and the sunny beaches and sweet night clubs.
