Nintendo Power magazine is a monthly news and strategy magazine formerly published in-house by Nintendo of America, but now run independently. As of issue #240 (April 2009), Nintendo contracted publishing duties to Future US.
One of the most successful magazine launches in publishing history, OXM debuted in 2001 simultaneously with the Xbox console and has since grown to include an audience of 349,000 readers.
The American edition of PC Gamer launched in 1994. In 1999, Future publishing, then known as Imagine media, purchased rival magazine PC Games and merged its staff into the magazine.
PlayStation: The Official Magazine (PTOM) is a magazine originally known as PlayStation Magazine (PSM).
