CGDC 2010 Kicks off its Pass Application Process

As the Organizing Committee of CGDC 2010 has received presentation abstracts from over 100 domestic and international game producers as well as experts in the field of interactive entertainment, CGDC 2010’s Advisory Board are currently engaged in a preliminary review of all the candidates to nominate speakers that are recognized authorities in their respective fields, with their presentations highly acclaimed by a majority of the board members. With the previous CGDC 2009 being a memorable event for China’s game developers, the forthcoming CGDC 2010 is set to present another super international technology feast.

To date, a good number of outstanding game producers from renowned international game development groups and workshops, including Microsoft, SONY, EA, Ubisoft, Activision, THQ, Blizzard, Capcom, NCsoft and Nexon as well as from experienced domestic game developers and operators, including Perfect World, Kingsoft, Changyou, Shanda Games, Tencent, The9, Giant Network, LineKong and Kylin Game, either have been accepted as or are in the process of confirmation to become speakers. These companies have dispatched their best qualified technical talents to participate in CGDC with an open mind, while the Advisory Board will help the Organizing Committee with the selection of the speakers, with an aim to create a balanced list in terms of proportions taken by domestic and international speakers. The Organizing Committee will release to the world the list of speakers approved by the Advisory Board via all its media channels.

CGDC, a Chinese-originated international technical exchange platform, gives the event a unique positioning by introducing advanced international game developing technologies while meeting the real needs of China’s game companies with an eye to the characteristics of the development of China’s game industry.
